- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 November 2009Wit Fit Plus has 15 new games which are as follows:
1. Perfect 10 is a game where you use your hips to hit numbers in which to reach a total. This is good fun and will test your body and mind co-ordination.
2. Cycling is done by walking on the balance board and you steer with your Wii Remote collecting flags. I found the cycling ok but prefer the cycling mode in Wii Sports Resort.
3. Rhythm Kung Fu is abit like the Rhythum Boxing only alot harder.
4. Driving Range is done by standing on your Wii balance board sideways and you swing the Wii remote like a golf club. I found this event to be the weakest out of the new ones.
5. Segway Circuit is brilliant fun as you race around poping beach balls!
6. Bird's-eye Bull's-eye is a real laugh in which you flap your arms like a madman to fly around, and you have to land on the targets for points.
7. Snowball Fight will test your reactions and throwing skills.
8. Obstacle Course is great fun and you feel like your running around a Mario level!
9. Tilt City is very enjoyable in which you guide these colour balls by tilting your Wii remote and your weight on the balance board towards their matching colour pipe. By matching the colour balls with the same colour pipe it will set off a firework.
10. Rhythum Parade surprised me as I was good at it and enjoyed it too. I was waving my Wii remote and Nunchuk in perfect timing on my first go!
11. Big Top Juggling is a very hard rhythm balance game.
12. Skateboard Arena is fantastic with it's jumps and stunts.
13. Table Tilt Plus is a good challenge even for those that have mastered the first one.
14. Balance Bubble Plus I completed the whole course on my first go which was mixture of skill and being very lucky.
15. Jogging Plus has new routes to un-lock and observation skills!
Other great things about Wii Fit Plus is the Multiplayer Mode in which you and your family or friends play games together. Each player takes turns with the Wii balance board and Wii Remote, and simply change players when prompted. There are three more Yoga and Muscle Workouts to try. You can practise your balance test games which test your Wii fit age in My Wii Fit Plus menu ( door ). There are five new balance test which are a bit tricky. Wii Fit Plus tells you how many calories you have burned off and you might find it useful being able to set yourself different fitness routines.
All your data from the first Wii Fit game is carried over to Wit Fit Plus which is most excellent indeed just like this game is really!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 November 2009When you love something, it is often a mistake to try push it a stage further to make it better. This is one of those few occasions when the sequel really is worth waiting for. When you first load it up, it picks up your existing save file and adds it into the new save file so that you don't lose your original Wii Fit data. The new Wii Fit Plus contains everything that Wii Fit does, except it is bursting at the seams with new fuctionality.
The new multiplayer mode makes playing as a family even more fun, and if that's not enough, when playing in training mode it is simple to switch users without having to go all the way back to the plaza with the help of the brand new 'switch' button. This is a massive PLUS on the original. The new games are excellent and some require the use of the balance board, wiimote and nunchuk at the same time. So much fun for all the family to enjoy and compete together.
'My Wii Fit Plus' allows you to customise your own workouts making this a fantastic cross between Wii Fit and the good parts of 'My Fitness Coach' & 'Jillian Michaels fitness ultimatum'. You can even count your calories here, not just what you burn (which is based on your personal body weight), but also what you consume.
Overall, this is the fitness game of the year.... and there have been so many. Can anyone better this? I doubt it!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 September 2024I absolutely loved this when I got it years ago, and I still love it now, not used as much as back then...but still used 😁
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 December 2009Having bought the Wii Fit board in order to lose weight and improve my posture, I was impressed in every way by the game. I was encouraged to get up every morning at 6:00am and interact with my Mii. My centre of gravity was so bad when I first began it explained my joint pain in my right hip & left foot. As I used the Wii fit board I lost weight each week and soon my joint pain disappeared completely. The exercises/games were simple but effective. I was pleased when it was announced that the Wii fit plus was to be released and I ordered my copy immediately and I wasn't disapointed! The new features are brilliant and enhance the original game. The simple test for weight/BMI makes the process much quicker although I still like to do the full body test sometimes as it lets me see my COG and ensures I am still standing/walking correctly. The new balance games are such good fun and although my husband & I are 45-50 we enjoy competing against each other like we were kids.
Overall good value for money and good all-round entertainment as well as very good for aging bones/joints.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 September 2010I had previously owned the original Wii Fit since the week it came out, and boy was I impressed with that. After reading such positive reviews & watching reviews on this product - I couldn't resist trying out the newer version as all the new activities looked amazing.
Firstly, the price is amazing - £15 for a game as good as this is a bargain.
The new features are amazing, really fun and gets you using the wii fit board, wii remote and nunchuk in a whole new way. With the new feature that tells you how many calories you have burned off per exercise (though not sure how accurate this is), you can really feel satisfied after a good 30 minute workout!
This is a real family game for everyone of all ages, doesn't necessarily have to be treated as an exercise machine - think of it as a family entertainment system!
This is a must have game for ALL Wii Owners, do NOT hesitate & buy NOW!
Also, couldn't fault Amazon's delivery!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 February 2024The game disc couldn't be read by the wii.
I have tried this in 3 wii's all with the same result.
The box came sealed.
Not sure why this didn't work.
I returned the disc and got a refund via amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lustige, umfangreiche Erweiterung der ersten Wii Fit Version

5.0 out of 5 stars Great upgrade to the original Wii Fit
I purchased the Wii Fit Plus to see what was new on it (hoping for some more 'step' routines, but sadly disappointed!) but I'm quite enjoying some of the other new activities on it. I like the fact that I can now create a personal "routine" of yoga and strength exercises, which I can go through more quickly than selecting each exercise individually, as I previously had to. The new activities offer lots of different things (golf swing, segway, skateboarding, and more) and some of them also include "mind-stretching activities" as well as physical (The Basic Run Plus is the same run as before, but now asks you questions about what you saw on your way round the island...so pay attention!)
On inserting the Plus disc into my Wii machine, it automatically brings all your stored information, weight, BMI, number of days etc, into the new program.
So other than the fact that I, like many other peoplke, are waiting for a specific "step routine" program for our Wii's, which the upgrade doesn't have, this is a good buy, with some fun stuff on it, and if you use your Wii on a regular basis like I do, I'd recommend you get it to keep yourself amused.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get up off the couch and Wii!
Wii Fit Plus, that is! I couldn't wait to try this new title because I enjoy and use the first one so much. When you start it up, the Plus goes and gets all your info and stats from the older version and brings them right into the game, so you can continue right where you left off, but with lots of new games and features. This is well worth the $20 just for the 15 new games.
There are lots of nice new features with this Wii Fit Plus. I always wished I could set up routines instead of having to move from one menu to the next after each exercise, or that there were ready made routines that I could follow involving several exercises. With the Plus this is possible. You start in the locker room and select from Wii Fit Plus Routines, My Routine, or the Favorites menu. You go to another screen to decide what parts of your body or what type of goals you want to pursue and the difficulty level and length of time. Then the system will set up a routine designed just for you and your goals. I think it's much more efficient to go through exercises this way. You can also compare how you did each day and how much you're improving. There's a multiplayer mode so that more than one person can play, but you do have to take turns. Still, it's nice to not have to 'log out' each time a different person wants to play.
Another new feature is that you can add babies or pets to the Plus. I have a big fat long haired 'mini' dachshund that was too embarrassed to be weighed today, but that pupper is going to get weighed tomorrow! They don't get to do body tests or play any games, but you can keep track of their weight and record it in their stats. Useful? Well, maybe not so much but big points for the cuteness factor.
I love the games because it's such a great way to get exercise without even realizing it and the 15 new ones in this title are just as good as the old if not better than the first edition. Want to learn to walk and chew gum at the same time? One of these games will have you balancing on a big red and white striped ball (your Wii Fit board) while juggling smaller balls thrown to you by your assistants. Or how about Rhythm Parade where you march and raise and lower your hands on cue and in time with the music? Tilt City has you using your Wiimote turned sideways and the balance board to maneuver dropping balls into one of three color coordinated pails. It's easy at first, but when several different colored balls start dropping at once, it's a challenge. I love the balance games and if you're a fan of the balance board game with the little balls in the first game, there's one here that uses some different colored slots to "pop" the balls up over small obstacles and into the hole. You control their movement by leaning in different directions on the balance board.
There are also 3 new yoga activities and 3 new strength training activities. That's not to say that some of the games don't improve strength and muscles. There is one game where you flap your arms like wings to fly from one target post to another over water to get points on each one. This is one where you want to draw all the curtains because you'll look completely ridiculous standing there on your balance board wildly flapping your arms like some kind of a crazy bird. But you won't believe how tired your arm muscles feel afterward and you don't even notice while you're busy flying from one target to another. There's another game, Island Cycling, where you step on the balance board to simulate pedaling a bike, trying to pass Wii flags where you accumulate points. You steer with the Wiimote held sideways. I was surprised how sore my calves were afterward, trying to control the speed of the bike.
When you can get exercise while doing something that's challenging and fun without even realizing that you're exercising, that's a successful game. That's why I bought the Wii to begin with and this game takes full advantage of the balance board and all the interactive features. Can I walk and chew gum at the same time after playing these games? Well, maybe not yet but I can bust big blue and white balloons by running into them with my Segway on a beach and get almost halfway through the course inside a big ol' bubble in Balance Bubble Plus. Great job, Nintendo! Two thumbs up!
