Energy efficiency scored 4 stars as it was A* Brightness scored 5 stars as it is excellent 400lm 6000k white light. Longevity 5 stars 30000h. Eco environment 4 stars no mercury content but did have plastic bulb holder that could have been cardboard see photo 2. The look of the bulb is frosted glass but when light is on frosting does not show the look against a traditional lamp can be seen in photo 3 also 4w against 40watts means more light less power overall I rated 5 stars very happy with cost of bulbs in the 10 pack will pay for themselves by energy savings.

    I've had 8 of these lights fitted for around six months now and they are all still working fine with none failing.

    They give off a bright light on the whiter end of the spectrum so very good for kitchens and halls and bathrooms but probably not the best for a bedroom or lounge. They are also very energy efficient also worth paying a bit extra for these compared to cheap inefficient ones such as halogen bulbs. Great value compared to buying them on the high-street also!

    I replaced the 4 50 watt halogen bulbs in my kitchen light with 4 5 watt LED bulbs, these were almost twice as bright as the Halogen bulbs. I would have given an overall 5 star rating but for the fact that one of the bulbs failed after less than an hour in use. Fortunately I had an LED replacement and all has been fine over the last 10 days. The LED bulbs use about a tenth of the electricity of the Halogen bulbs.

    The packaging was excellent and the old bulbs fit into the packaging so can be kept safe. The only thing is the light they give off is very reminiscent of the old office lights tht are so clinically white it is a very cold light. Due to this and only this I am returning them and buying warmer white ones. Yes I probably should have checked but there we are. Good lights low electric costs but way to cold light for me.

    Bought these bulbs to replace the halogen spotlights in both my kitchen and en-suite. I went for the cool white light as I prefer these areas to be bright. Having installed them I am very happy. Both rooms look bright. They were easy to install. On looking at my smart reader they have reduced the electricity usage by 75%. The only thing I can’t comment on is the longevity as I’ve not had them long. Ordered on prime with next day delivery, what more could you ask for. Great value for money.

    I previously had GU10 halogens bulbs in my kitchen in 2 banks of 3. They were forever blowing and tripping out the light circuit when they did. these new bulbs are MUCH brighter and give off much less heat. I cant speak about the longevity as I have only just installed them but considering that I was replacing bulbs every 2 weeks the cost was getting silly. at about £5.00 per bulb - these are £15 for 10 so it makes sense even if they only last as long as the others.. Brilliant purchase. I will be back for more..
