Nice bottle and interesting flavour tea
Cold tea sounds rather unappealing but Twinings Cold Fusion tea is anything but. This pack comes with a 550ml bottle that splits into 3 parts, the bottle, a top with drinking hole and the screw on lid with handle. The pack also comes with 3 flavours as a sample to try. These are Blueberry Apple & Blackcurrant, Watermelon Strawberry & Mint , Mango Passionfruit & Blood Orange all with natural flavourings. The tea bags are fabric, so I'm not sure of the effect on the environment, but you can see all the fruit inside and once dropped into the water and shaken they change the colour of the water. The important thing here is that you need to shake, wait, shake and wait again to ensure that the flavour comes out, otherwise it's too weak. Once they've been in at least 5 minutes (I usually prepare these 10 minutes before) the water is sufficiently flavoured. The flavour is about the same strength as fruit tea, but it does rely on you shaking and leaving the bag in the water. I've had all three and the blackcurrant one has been my favourite so far but I was quite surprised by how much I loved the Watermelon Strawberry & Mint. They are never going to be as strong as a cordial as they're all natural ingredients, but I've found that it makes drinking water more pleasant. The bottle is also good quality. It doesn't leak and is easy to drink from, plus the handle is useful for carrying it around (and you can hook it on to things).

    The flavours of tea are nice and refreshing. The longer you leave the bags in before drinking the nicer the flavours are.
    The drink bags are easily found in most supermarkets and often on offer. You can even buy flavours specially aimed for children's pallets.
    An item which is used daily in my house!

    EDIT: There are a lot of reviews falsely saying that the teabags are plastic. This is quite literally false and it's frustrating seeing people rate these low based on their own misinformation. As it states clearly on the packaging, they are biodegradable and I have witnessed this as I've been tossing them in my compost with my usual teabags!

    Having recently gotten into cold brew teas, I had put off trying the Twinings ones as they have always seemed so expensive compared to other brands such as Tetleys. However, having become bored of the Tetleys flavours, I thought I would take the plunge and finally try Twinings!

    £5 for three assorted tester bags and the bottle is a pretty good deal. The bottle itself is high quality, I love the minimal design, it's leak proof, and is just the right size for me. I normally opt for insulated bottles, however sometimes they're not really justified in my day to day routine, and have a habit of being hard to drink from. This bottle has the bonus of being totally clear so you can really appreciate the colour change after your tea has brewed for a while.

    Onto the actual bags...

    So our of the three, the Watermelon one was definitely the best! Really refreshing and the melon flavour definitely came through strong. Much better than the Tetleys watermelon cold brew bag (which has nearly no melon flavour at all!). The other two bags were okay, the passion fruit one unfortunately didn't really brew to a strong exotic flavour like I had hoped but I imagine would have been lovely with sparkling water. The blackcurrant one was my least favourite, unfortunately not being very tasty, more like very weak cordial.

    Overall though the quality of these bags are great, and I'll be buying a jar of the Watermelon bags. On a side note, most of these Twinings bags don't actually contain any tea, so the majority of them are decaffeinated! Which is also a shame for me as I really prefer them to be tea based as opposed to just fruit...

    I would definitely recommend this starter set to anyone, the bottle alone makes it worth the price!

    The bottle looks very sturdy, the one flavour I have tried so far (passionfruit mango and blood orange) is nice but not very strong, even after excessive shaking and 5 minutes "infusing". The only downside so far which is quite a big one even though its only been 10 minutes of owning it is the second half of the screw on top doesn't have the best seal and leaks a few drops every time you drink from it. Overall, just worth the sale price, disappointed by the leakage

    I am one of these weird people that do not quite like the taste of water; that is why I never drank enough liquids every day. When I found out about this product I decided to give it a try and I must say I am very happy that someone, finally, came up with this idea.     Just throwing away the bottle, awful design. Tea leaks into the cap and you get we trying to drink.
    Due to its double twist, if you twist either the base or the cap a bit hard, then you are stuck forever in a never-ending fight against opening the cap or the base but not both... therefore, really difficult to wash and very frustrating.
    As I said, I am throwing away the bottle atm and using a different one.
