Sun Lotion SPF15 with natural tan accelerator (£21.00 for 200 ml) – this SPF15 colour-maximising sun lotion uses a naturally derived ingredient, inositol, to speed up the body's ability to tan. Trials have shown the speed of tanning increases by 25 per cent, the depth of suntan by over 28 per cent, and it reduces the tan-fading rate by almost 50 per cent. (NB Just in case you aren’t aware: an SPF15 sun lotion, stroked on generously every two hours - as it would be in laboratory conditions – offers 93 per cent protection against UVB rays while an SPF30 lotion offers 97 per cent.)
