What you need to know

We love this mischievous crew! It’s not just their cute toys and cheeky expression, but the fact that they’re actually pretty straightforward to knit. If you’re giving these toys to really young children, just make sure everything is sewn together really securely.

What do I need?


Yarn: DK, shades copper brown, biscuit brown, bone white, one 20g ball of each; pink, one 15g ball; blue, one 5g ball; oddment of dark brown
Needles: 3.25mm
Safety toy stuffing
Stitch holder
Tapestry needle

Sizing


The puppies are 10cm tall

Top knit tips


Try not to overstuff your toys or the stuffing will show through the fabric.

French knots are neat embroidery stitches that make good eyes for toys, such as our puppies.
