This air show competition will run from the 10th May 2017 until midnight on Saturday 22nd July 2017.

There can only be one entry per Email address. We do not accept any responsibility for any cancellation of this event or failing of the airshow organiser or postal service. Winners with correct answers will be selected at random. The judges decision is final.

The winners will be announced on this website after Saturday 22nd July 2017.

Address and Email details will only be used for the purpose of this competition and will be kept strictly confidential before they are deleted at the end of this competition.

Biggin Hill Festival of Flight 2017

There are eight pairs of Biggin Hill Festival of Flight 2017 tickets to be won. Each winner will receive a pair of tickets to this exciting event which takes place on 19th - 20th August 2017. The tickets are valid for Saturday 19th August 2017.

Simply select the aircraft which will NOT be at the Biggin Hill Festival of Flight 2017. Then enter your name, email address and postal address to have a chance of winning a pair of tickets.

The competition will run until midnight on Saturday 22nd July 2017 with the eight lucky winners being notified shortly after this date and receiving their prize to this thrilling event.

Biggin Hill Festival of Flight takes place on 19th - 20th August 2017 at London Biggin Hill Airport, Bromley in Kent. This year's Festival of Flight celebrates 100 years of aviation at Biggin Hill and will take place over two days.

The gates open at 9.30am and the event finishes at 5.30pm. The flying display will start at 1.30pm and finish at around 5.30pm.

The showground will include the Biggin100 Exhibition which will look at life over the last 100 years at Biggin Hill. There will be a funfair, as well as two food courts serving up freshly prepared food and drink.

The Roundel Car Rally is a car rally for both classics and modern vehicles and it is all in aid of charity. Starting at the home of British motor racing, Brooklands in Surrey, the cars will arrive at Biggin Hill for their flight line parade before parking in the showground for all to see.

The flying display will include everyone's favourite, the Red Arrows, and they will be displaying on both Saturday and Sunday. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) will be bringing their Avro Lancaster as well as a Spitfire and Hurricane.

Foreign participants in the flying display will include the French Air Force 'Patrouille de France' precision aerobatic demonstration team which will display on the Sunday. The Belgian Air Force will display the exciting F-16 Fighting Falcon jet fighter on both days, while the Czech Air Force will display a Jas-39C Gripen, Mi-35 Hind attack helicopter and Mi-171 Hip helicopter on both days.

Many more aircraft are expected to take part in the flying display and a list of aircraft can be found on the official website.

There will also be a number of aircraft on static display so you can get to see them up close.

Tickets to this event are now on sale and must be purchased on-line and booked in advance. Children 16 and under get in for free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are currently available at a discounted price until 7th August when they will then be increased to full price. Parking is free, please have your entrance tickets ready for inspection upon arrival. There will be no tickets available at the gate.

How to get there by Car:
Biggin Hill Airport is situated on the A233 (Main Road). Please follow local signs for entry into the showground. Please have you tickets available for inspection from the point of entering the airport

If you are using the M25:
from the West, leave the motorway at Junction 6, from the East leave at Junction 4. For satnav users the address is: Churchill Way, Biggin Hill, Kent, TN16 3BN.

Please note there is no access via Downe Village.

How to get there by Train:
From Bromley South Railway Station, frequent trains serve London Victoria which takes as little as 25 minutes. Other trains from Bromley South also serve Sevenoaks, Orpington, Dover Priory and Ashford International (Eurostar Terminal).

Main routes to/from London:
Orpington to London Bridge (15 mins)
Bromley South to London Victoria (17 mins)

How to get there by Bus:
These buses stop by the Airport terminal to connect with Bromley South Railway Station:
320 (towards Catford)
246 (towards Bromley North, also stops at Hayes Railway Station)

Free Local Bus Service - For local residents
The points for pick-up will be the 320 bus stops in the valley and at the Post Office on Main Road. The first free service will be at 9.00am and will continue every 10 - 12 minutes up to 11.00am. At the airport, the service will terminate in Churchill Way by Maitland View, providing easy pedestrian access to the spectator enclosure.

The return service will operate along the reverse route, the first bus at 4.00pm, final service at 6.00pm.
