Ideal proportions for defrosting and proving individual pizza dough balls and the tub body is nice and clear for checking on progress without removing the lids. (These 760ml size tubs are quite deep in relation to their diameter compared to most others I’ve come across).
I read an especially helpful tip here from another reviewer who uses them upside-down when proving dough balls...thus minimising surface tension...FAB!
I’m just about to order 2 more sets for when family and friends can safely come and join us for pizza; plus, I’m going to use them for lots of other purposes such as airtight storage for homemade play dough.
Before buying my first set of these tubs, I’d wrongly assumed they’d feel quite flimsy and semi-disposable but they’re actually relatively sturdy.
Not as heavy duty as Tupperware or Sistema main ranges etc (I love their containers with the snap-down tabs though they’re quite expensive) but these are great value for money and serve their purposes nonetheless.
What would make them even better for my uses would be square versions of the same sort of sized tubs to save even more space in fridge, freezer or shelf etc!
