This is a piece of exercise equipment that predominately works the lower body, specifically the thighs and buttocks. You stand on the Leg Master legs apart and then 'squeeze' your legs together to draw them up the curved ramp. Sweeping the legs 'in and out' in this lateral sideways fashion is what activates the muscles. You are literally lifting your entire bodyweight up against gravity using those 'hard to reach' muscles we do not use on a daily basis. Because it is a resistance training machine and not a cardio machine you only need to do it for less than a minute a day to feel and see the results. Shown on a Thermology Camera the heat of the muscles can clearly be seen here as cool (green colour) and cold (blue). This is the situation at room temperature before exercise begins.

The Thermology Camera shows a marked difference in the heat radiated by the muscles after just 60 seconds of sweeping the legs 'in and out' up the curved ramp of the Leg Master. The hard to reach muscles of the inner thighs, lower abdomen and Pelvic Floor are clearly shown as activated and 'fired up' after using the Leg Master for 1 minute.

This is High Intensity Interval Training at its best.

The results using the thermal camera clearly show the heat (due to muscle activation) increased to large levels for the Pelvic Floor region, the inner thighs, lower abdomen and within 1 minute. The Leg Master targets these areas of the body, as seen on the thermal images. All these 60 second bursts supercharge the body.

What you gain from all this muscle activation is stronger, firmer and more toned legs.

You get a flatter stomach and more engaged Pelvic Floor.

This is essential for helping with thos 'oops moments'.

Fortunately, the muscles that do the heavy lifting are those of the inner thigh. These are the hard-to-reach muscles, not normally used in exercise.

As you stand on the Leg Master, your body weight rests on the lower section of the curved ramp. But lifting your body weight up the ramp – even though you are gliding gently – takes a lot of muscle-power. When you first start doing these exercises you really will only do a few, but as you start to add on extra movements each day you soon will get up to bursts of 60 seconds. Doing several of these bursts of 60 second throughout the day is your goal and just perfect to keep healthy and strong. Feel it working immediately.
Good solid piece of equipment but really easy to assemble. I could feel it working my legs and gluts immediately and I’m noticing that my coordination and strength is improving already. I was dubious about the claim that you could ‘work-out for just a minute a day' but I love the convenience of being able to hop on and do a minute or two then come back later to do some more - plus it fits into a HIIT routine really well.

    I had seen the leg master in stores and on shopping channels for a few years and have always been intrigued on how something that looked so simple and easy to use could actually work. Well on ordering it, mainly for both my wife and I to use as we don’t have the room for big bulky exercise equipment and wanted something that promised fast results, I found out and it definitely works, no hype. And fast results are what we got, it’s well made and easily takes my weight (I’m 17 stone) and right from the very first time we both used it we could feel it working. Even after just a few of the exercises the next day I could really feel it in muscles that other much more expensive machines have never touched before. After just a few weeks my legs are stronger and starting to shape up. This is highly recommended and , if like me, you have seen it before and wondered if it works, take it from me, it’s worth every penny.

    I love this.
    After a year of lockdown and being in my early fifties I’d put on a stone over the last year and went up a dress size.
    Most of it round my middle and legs and upper arms.
    I have always suffered with cellulite too :/
    I asked my husband for this for Christmas, he moaned at first about it ending up as another piece of gym equipment that wouldn’t ever get used but bought it for me under pressure :)
    I have it in the kitchen and since Christmas Day have used it ever time I boil the kettle (which is quite a few times a day)
    It doesn’t take up much room and it’s been regularly used due to situ
    I have noticed already my legs toning and my cellulite being already less noticeable
    I have an exercise bike too but this is so much easier to use regularly and efficiently
    For what looks like an uncomplicated piece of equipment it really work those core areas very effectively.
    I struggled at first to do 40 reps now I’m on 80, exercising my arms too (which is also a work in progress)
    I feel confident I will have my figure back in a few months.
    Little and often works best for me, no gym clothes needed and it’s so convenient
    Would HIGHLY recommend 5*

    Love this product. Have been using it for nearly a month now and am still not able to do the full minute yet. When you get on it and start, you can feel it working after a few moves. I love to exercise but find it hard to fit alot of exercise in, so jumping on this 3 to 4 times aday helps me work my legs, this then frees me up to do my upper body. And the best thing is once you build yourself up, you can jump on as and when it suits you. Love it

    This came very quickly, and did not take long to put together, but when I used it my knees started to really hurt. But I do have arthritis in my knee. I struggled to do 30 seconds and had to stop. I will try it again when my knees feel better but maybe wear supports on my knees.

    Easy to set up. Took me 2 weeks to be able to stand on it properly. Not a negative point for the machine, but an indicator of how weak my body was and actually in need of this machine! I have built up the number and quality of reps very slowly. And 3 months later I can do the exercises more comfortably. I even tried a workoit from youtube the other day. I can definitely say it has helped my legs and lower back muscles engage, strenghthen and tone. Not sure how to tell effects on pelvic floor, but I do generally feel stronger between tummy and knees.     I wanted something to firm up my thighs and give me more strength in them as I noticed they feel very heavy walking up steps and I get out of puff easily. Im 9st 5lb so not huge, just unfit. It looks easy to use and I was really surprised at how tough it actually is to do to start with but I soon managed after just a few days to increase the amount that I could do. After just two weeks I found it extremely easy and noticed it having an affect on the strength in my thighs as well as a surprising weight loss. After two weeks I went on a walking holiday up and down steep hills in Devon and I couldnt believe how easy I found it to do compared to normal and I didnt get out of puff so easily. Dont make the mistake like I did of reading the questions and answers and expecting them to relate to the item being sold as it was a different model and not foldable which is what I wanted. You can take the handle out and lay it flat on top of the sliding part but I havent got anywhere to store it like that. Also it said it was ready assembled for immediate use but you do have to put in two poles before you can use it. This really does work and I was sceptical. I went from barely being about to do five repetitions to doing lots in a few days.

    So disappointed with this - it’s so clunky, doesn’t run smooth so very hard to use. In short I think poorly made and not usable. Any piece of excercise equipment should be smooth running or you can actually hurt yourself

    This is Great, hard work at first but you soon build muscles up. I couldnt even do 10 reps with this at first now 4 weeks later I can do 250 reps although I do these in sets if 50 reps on the machine then march on the spot for 100 steps then repeat or your leg muscles will get too tired and this helps warm your muscles up. I can feel the difference in my stomach muscles too. It's too tricky at first to do the arms and legs together so I just stand in front of the machine opposite from the slider section and do a set of 100 reps lifting the arm bar up and then 100 reps of pushing the arm bar down. I can see a real difference in my arms and legs since using this. It is great and only takes 5 minutes of your day to tone up!

    Ho aspettato un po' prima di scrivere la recensione perchè volevo vedere se dava dei risultati. E' arrivato con un po' di ritardo perchè il corriere non trovava l'indirizzo....vabbè....non vedevo l'ora di riceverlo...e poi finalmente è arrivato.....ROTTO!!!!! SONO RIMASTA MALISSIMO MA APPENA HO CONTATTATO AMAZON mi hanno rimborsato l'importo totale. Ho cercato di aggiustarlo al meglio inserendo delle viti e da allora lo uso tutti i giorni x circa 7 minuti. Devo dire che qualcosa ha fatto, gambe più snelle!!!! Si sono rassodate, ma sugli addominali non sento nulla, secondo me non fa nulla a meno che non si lavori tenendo il busto molto eretto e stringendo i glutei mentre si fa l'esercizio (cosa non sempre facile). Nel complesso sono soddisfatta ma la rottura si vede e si sente durante esercizio.
