We applied for this freebie on the 16th of July 2021 and the postie delivered it directly to your door just over 2 months later. We're delighted!
Despite 6,000 freebies available, this freebie ran out incredibly fast. Within 2 hours of posting it on the site, all 6,000 bottles were claimed.
We were so excited to be one of the first to get our application but lots of our visitors didn't see it in time, which is a bit of a shame.
When we realised that the free samples had run out so fast, we thought it only prudent to let our visitors know that the freebie was genuine, so we posted an article Sxoille Craft Cider Free Sample Proof which shows the email we received, confirming that our request was received.
We also added an image of the shopping cart, proving the bottle was free of charge after the voucher code was entered. No other purchase is necessary.
Here is some of the other free stuff we've received
Usually with free samples that need handling with care, such as bottles, the brand would offer vouchers to pick it up in store. However, as this product is new and they are not well stocked in most UK supermarkets and off licences, they posted out the freebies via Royal Mail.
To ensure the package arrived safe and sound, the 33ml bottle was stored in a cardboard tube container with the Sxollie logo all over it.
Who are Sxollie?
Sxollie are a South African brand of cider, crafted using only famous, single varietal apples, which are locally sourced from one grower in the Elgin Valley, Western Cape, S.A. They even claim to be able to tell you the exact orchard and block from where the apples used to make their cider are grown.
What makes Sxollie cider so special?
According to the Sxollie website, their cider is made in wine style using champagne yeast and steel vats. This process is said to boost the extraction of apple characteristics and to seal in extra flavours.
Each bottle of Sxollie cider is made using 3.3 apples and there are four apple flavours to choose from in their product line at the moment - Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Cripps Pink Apple, Packham's Triumph Pear.
Sxollie cider is also 100% vegan, gluten free, Lower in calories, has no added flavourings, or added sugar. Plus, they have given apple concentrate a miss, instead they user pure 100% apple.
If you want to try out this special cider, you can purchase directly from the Skollie website. Select individual flavours or buy a mixed case. A case of any flavour costs £15 for 8 bottles, just under £2 each - not bad for a posh and unique offering.
