Adam and Katya kicked off the Strictly show on Week 7 with the Jive. Not a great start to the show in terms of points on the board as the couple only managed to score 27 points. At this stage in the competition, the couples are expected to be hitting 30+ points week on week if they are to remain in the running.
Rose and Giovanni, smashed it in week 6 (Halloween Week) with an incredible 40 points. Super high bar set and the couple will have to pull off all the stops in their Samba routine. The couple didn't quite manage a perfect score but they did secure their highest Latin score of the competition so far and managed a very decent 32 points.
Tom and Amy were up next and they danced the Pasodoble. The McFly band member had to discover his inner matador to pull off a good score. He did and secured a great score of 38 points to sit pretty at the top of the leaderboard, plus the added bonus of a 10 from head judge Shirley.
Rhys and Nancy hit the ballroom floor and pulled off an excellent routine which was in fact the highest score for the Quickstep so far in the series. 34 points to put them in second place.
The first three routines have all scored in the 30s so all eyes on Tilly Ramsey and her partner Nikita taking on the Tango. They managed to squeeze into the 30s with 31 points.
There was a momentary slip in the high scoring for the evening when Dan Walker and Nadya Bychkova only managed 28 points for their couple's choice routine. They joined Adam and Katya in the sub 30s bottom of the leaderboard.
A beautiful Rumba from John and Johannes raised the bar back into the mid 30s. Their routine to Sting's song 'Shape of my Heart' really impressed the judges. Shirley said it was 'Class Personified' and Craig said he wanted to steal the routine for his wedding. 35 points for the all male couple who can't seem to put a foot wrong.
