This Christmas Eve Morrisons stores up and down the country will be giving away wonky carrots in store to help promote their wonky vegetable range. So if you have forgotten to save some mince pies for Santa, make sure you do your Christmas Eve shop at Morrisons and pick up some free carrots for the big guy.
Wonky vegetables are the new black at supermarkets this year and are set to become even more popular in 2017.

Morrisons along with most of the other big supermarket chains are pushing their wonky veg range because it's costs them and the farmer less to get on the shelf because the inspection process is shortened.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wonky veg, they just are a bit, well wonky. The taste is no different than other veg we are used to buying, so get behind this in 2017 and save yourself a load of money and the environment will benefit too.
