The story of Faith In Nature.
The story of Faith In Nature began over 40 years ago. Back in 1974 the founder Rivka Rose had moved to Scotland and her skin was not used to the harsher cold climate and needed a stronger moisturiser. She embarked on making one for herself and in this act the company Faith In Nature was born.
Faith In Nature was Rose's vision of the future, now it is very easy to source organic food and products but jump back over 45 years and Rose was most certainly a pioneer and visionary. She wanted to bring ethical, planet friendly beauty products to the UK that were affordable.
Rivka Rose's ethos is to harness the power of nature, without harming it in the process. and this is the driving force behind her products that are all certified as-
- 100% Natural Fragrance
- Cruelty Free
- Made in UK
- Vegan
- Recycled and Recyclable Packaging
- All Organic – whenever possible
Who is Rivka Rose?
Rivka Rose is a native New Yorker and was born in the Bronx. She moved to California in her early 20's to develop her passion and instinct in herbalism, nutrition, and plants. As a child, she was always making concoctions that she felt would benefit people.
California was the hub for organic and natural remedies and products, and this is where she continued to develop her craft. It was after her move to Scotland that she really began to flourish out of necessity to create a skin moisturiser for her sensitive skin. She decided that she wanted to bring natural products to the UK and the business was formed soon after.
Ethical Beauty Company
Faith In Nature is an ethical beauty company that takes its environmental impact very seriously. All the packaging has been fully recycled/recyclable since 1999. It has also won the Silver Award in the Global Green Beauty Awards in 2020 for the Best Natural Hand soap.
You can buy large bottles of shower gel and shampoo in 2 and 5 litre versions to limit plastic use and then you can post them back, washed, free of charge where they will be put back into the production line.
They also sell their products in many outlets around the UK that operate as 'filling stations' for you to bring in your own receptacle. There is a full list of them on the Faith In Nature website.

Where to Buy Faith In Nature?
When I first started using Faith In Nature products, they were quite hard to find but now they are stocked in Boots, Holland and Barrett, Ocado, Planet Organic, to name a few, and loads of online retailers. You can also buy direct from their own website.
I would recommend paying their website a visit as there is a great blog on there to read up on skincare tips and articles. It will also steer you in the right direction for your own personal needs. Such as if you have greasy hair, I suggest the Citrus shampoos, or if your hair is on the dryer side then opt for the thicker Coconut and Shea Options. There is something for everybody!
